LEBANON, Pa. “A bug bomb blast is to blame for a house explosion in Lebanon that sent at least two people to the hospital Thursday morning. Tenants were setting off bug bombs to kill roaches, firefighters said. Investigators believe that they set off too many and failed to turn off the gas, causing an explosion and fire.”
Ok I will say this again, those so called bug bombs can be dangerous. I rarely use these devices, they do have there place (we use them in attics when we have bees building a nest/colony within the attic itself). In the case of German roaches – the only thing those bombs do is to make the roaches retreat further into their hiding places. In this case you have just created a bigger problem. Sometimes it is better left to the Professionals like ProBest – we use all the tools available to us to handle these pests.
